Llegó la lista que todos habían estado esperando; se trata de los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2023, la cual ha dejado pocas sorpresas.
Fueron los actores Riz Ahmed ('The Night of') y Allison Williams ('Girls') quienes a leyeron los nominados a los Oscar, entre los que se encuentran los directores mexicanos Guillermo del Toro, Alejandro González Iñárritu y Alfonso Cuarón por las películas Pinocho y Bardo, respectivamente.
En el caso de González Iñárritu no fue nominado en la categoría de Mejor Película Extranjera sino en Mejor Fotografía a cargo de Darius Khondji .

Por último, Alfonso Cuarón está nominado en la categoría Mejor Cortometraje de Acción Real con el cortometraje italiano ‘Le Pupille’.
‘Sin novedad en el frente’ y ‘Todo a la vez en todas partes’ dieron la sorpresa ante el favorito Spielberg, llevándose la mayoría de las nominaciones destacadas.
En tanto competirán por la estatuilla de mejor actor Brendan Fraser ('La ballena') y Colin Farrell ('Almas en pena de Inisherin') como grandes favoritos, mientras que frente a De Armas estará la gran favorita, Cate Blanchett, por su actuación en ‘Tár’.
La ceremonia de los Oscar se celebrará el 12 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles y contará de nuevo con Jimmy Kimmel como presentador.
